Graders are highly utilised throughout the mining industry to carry out fast and reliable rehabilitation tasks resulting in acceptable scarification to support new vegetation growth.

Backhoes are still our top requested machines to carry out all manner of site investergations, with there exceptional versatility E.C.W can provide highly skilled operators to carry out tasks that would otherwise require several different earthmoving machines,  adding unnecessary time, cost and complexity to any situation.

With a range of optional accessories including auger motors and lifting forks, it’s a higly adapatable machine to have on any project.

 E.C.W Group has the ability to deliver excavators ranging from 5 to 45 tonne, rubber or steel tracked anywhere across Australia.

Larger Excavators are ideally suited for plate load testing, areas of highly difficult access with high risk of tyre damage, steep ascending or descending access, construction of access tracks and drill pads where large amounts of material are required to be moved.

Smaller rubber tracked excavators have their advantages traversing over sealed surfaces that cannot be damaged, tight locations and softer ground conditions.

Wheel loaders can provide a good alternative over the smaller Backhoe and the larger D8 dozer within E.C.W Groups available machinery.

Wheel loaders can provide lower ground impact that is typically seen with tracked machinery.

Less aggressive topsoil disturbance with similar blade widths to the D8 dozer, Wheel loaders can also travel at greater speeds point to point over tracked machines. 

Tracked dozers are key to working hard and difficult ground conditions. E.C.W has availability to wet hire D8 tracked dozers, perfect for heavy track cleaning and drill pad construction. 

The D8 has one very distinct advantage over the larger D9 and D10 in its considerably cheaper transport costs, not requiring the additional permits and use of Escort vehicles from pickup and drop off locations.

Lower daily fuel usage and lower footprint disturbance are added benefits to the D8 also.
