Primarily, we aim to gather as much information as possible regarding the type of rig and associated equipment that will be working on the pad. We also pay attention to often overlooked details such as safe access and egress to the pad, drill sump size depending on borehole depth, minimal topsoil disturbance to reduce dust for the drill crews, and drill pad orientation to favour any natural topography. |
AUGER DRILLING Solid stem auger drilling has the distinct advantage for quickly setting up and moving between site locations. Augured holes greatly reduce ground disturbance while still maintaining adequate bulk soil sampling. A range of auger diameters is available to suit specific requirements and ground conditions.

Understanding the environmental impacts caused by open drill sumps with remaining drill water, cuttings, and drill muds, it is important to reinstate drill pads soon after drilling is completed. This will reduce the likelihood of fauna being trapped in discarded fluids, following up with scarification of the topsoil to promote flora regrowth in cleared areas. |
TRACK ACCESS AND MAINTENANCE Our experienced and skilled operators have undertaken track clearing and maintenance throughout some of the most difficult terrain Western Australia has to offer. With the versatility, manoeuvrability, and speed that a backhoe has to offer, we can cover large distances in a single shift with minimal clearing to reach drilling and test pitting locations. Other equipment on offer such as Wheeled loaders, Graders and Dozers can be implemented to suit different requirements also.
With the aid of GPS, the operator can foresee, plan, and accurately manoeuvre around objects that often slow progress, more importantly, understanding GIS file overlays with marked out buffer zones can eliminate any permit breaches.
