Got a question?

Lest start with ones we get often.

what areas to you cover?

We operate throughout Australia.

Having a Freight and Logistics division allows us not to worry about unpredictable third party contractors, it gives us the control and flexibility over costs and any unforeseen changes to a scope of works that may require mobilisation changes.

how do you move your equipment?

We've evolved to a dedicated Prime Mover and primarily Drop Deck trailer, this allows a single operator to mobilise a large amount of equipment to site and operate for several months in one trip.

whats a backhoe?

We get this a lot! Often unheard of or mistaken for an Excavator its considered the Swiss Army knife of earthmoving machinery.

Ours in particular has been configured to carry out mutable operations without support at the same time.

GPS guided if required, were able to:

  • Excavate Test Pits / Trenches
  • Auger Drill to 4mts
  • Clear tracks / Build roads
  • Lift palletised equipment and travel long distances with quick pace.

whats an Excavator?

Track driven and designed primarily to move large amounts of material with the least amount of travel.

Not built to travel long distance quickly, often heavy and bulky requiring specialised and expensive equipment to transport them when exceeding 15t.

backhoe pros & cons

Pros

  • Powerful enough to find bed rock and not over blend soft soil structures
  • Fast moving between different locations
  • Able to effectively clear tracks
  • Safe operator 360 degree field of vision
  • Safe lockout methods to reduce operational slew radios
  • Mutable fixed attachments for flexible and productive work
  • Up to 7m digging depth
  • Rubber Wheeled, Little to no ground disturbance on hard surfaces
  • Lower running costs
  • Standard transport requirements

Cons

  • Overlooked as an effective machine
  • Posable tyre damage
  • Less stable on excessively sloping ground
  • Requires mixed skills set to operate
  • Less power over Excavators greater than 15t

Excavator pros & cons

Pros

  • Good surface traction
  • Good machine stability when operated correctly
  • Single skill set to operate
  • Large power outputs for fast digging with larger machines

Cons

  • Large machines can easily overpower soft ground structures resulting in excessive soil blending without operators knowledge
  • Slow moving
  • Requires Final drive cool down in hot conditions when tramming increasing travel times
  • Operator blind spots
  • Considerable ground disturbance from steel tracks
  • Hard surfaces damage from steel tracks
  • Requires 360 degree slew radios zones
  • Ineffective at clearing tracks
  • Requires mutable on site support equipment to move over longer distances or over hard surfaces increasing more risk and potentially higher operational costs
  • Higher running cost
  • Larger Excavators require speclised transport requirements increasing mobilisation costs

can you transport soil samples?

YES!

Were able to transport and deliver soil samples from site to your proffered drop off location keeping manual handling and risk of vehicle overloading to a minimum.
